OCHOA DIAZ, César Eduardo; FIALLOS BUENANO, Norma Estefanía y HERNANDEZ RAMOS, Eduardo Luciano. Preparing law students through a case study in Ecuador. Conrado [online]. 2022, vol.18, n.89, pp. 481-491. Epub 30-Dic-2022. ISSN 1990-8644.
The health crisis has caused the closure of businesses and the companies that have not closed are not in a position to sign employment contracts, especially when it is known that in an employment contract, once the ninety-day trial period has elapsed, the worker obtains stability and acquires the right to claim severance pay for dismissal. Bringing law students closer to these cases allows them to train professionals with greater capabilities. For this reason, the general purpose of this research is to prepare law students through a case study on labor stability based on probationary periods. Necessary elements are determined to guarantee the labor stability of workers according to the probationary period. The degree of their hierarchical ranking was determined through a Saaty AHP. In addition, the preparation of students is made possible by the presence of a pedagogical model based on competencies.
