In the current times, when the new millennium brings impregnated the characteristic of a cruel imperialism and without frontiers that it seeking to destroy the national identities of the countries, the school, the family and the society, acted in the community have of occupying the place that it corresponds in the complex process of forming to the individual physics and spiritually, well the education acts in behalf of a social process complex of character historic and clasista, through which it inherits himself the knowledge of the human being. The local history has to recover its singular importance in the space of the homeland history, like essential road for ransoming the love of the identity of each country with the aim of conserving and the new generations know and broadcast the way of life and traditions of each locality and feel indisputable part of history that also belong them. In that pawn the universities cubans of start of the century himself coming to grips to sundry and profound changes in the educational politics and in the programs that they orchestrate for lifting the level cultural of the citizenry. For this reason, in the present article, a didactic alternative is proposed for studying local history in the Enrique José Varona Science Pedagogic University.
