The business environment is changing, forcing companies to improve themselves, in order to stay in the market. SMEs, relevant actors in the national economy and a considerable source of employment, face these challenges and must adapt, through the application of technological and innovative solutions. The present investigation proposes to introduce improvements in the quotation process in SMEs for the sale of vehicle accessories in the canton of La Maná, with the creation of software for this purpose. Methods such as analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive and systematic were used. A survey was applied to a sample of 172 executives, employees and clients, obtaining as a result that the use of software benefits the quotation process and that the application of new technologies has a positive influence on the management of SMEs. The design of a software to control the quotation process in SMEs of La Maná canton is presented.
