The objective of this research is to design an Environmental Education program focused on interdisciplinarity and transversality for the production of organic fertilizer as a pedagogical strategy that allows comprehensive development to strengthen the learning of environmental culture in 2nd year high school students in the Colón Educational Institution in the city of Portoviejo, Ecuador. School bars are places that are located within educational institutions, authorized for the preparation and sale of food and beverages, natural and/or processed, that provide nutritious, safe, varied and sufficient food. The proposal is structured from the qualitative current under a descriptive look, contributing to the significant learning of the different topics associated with environmental education, the protection and conservation of ecosystems, as well as friendly agricultural production in a sustainable environment.
