Developing communication skills requires the use of various media and technological resources. Therefore, the general objective of the research was to determine how the use of Google Classroom influences the development of communication skills in students of the Daniel Alcides Carrión National University. For this, the use of Google Meet, forums, announcements, text publications in the virtual classroom was prioritized, and how these strengthen oral expression, writing and reading. The descriptive and explanatory level of applicative research with a quasi-experimental design was used, through the scientific, inductive and deductive method, in a sample of 50 students. An 18-question questionnaire was used, which was previously subjected to expert judgment, a pilot test, and the reliability process. As a result, it was possible to verify that the use of Google Classroom influences the development of communication skills in university students.
