In the context of the knowledge society technological advances emerge to respond to the needs of being in continuous connection with information and communication, particularly in the educational sector, where knowledge management becomes an adequate platform to socialize the knowledge supported in the sources of information with technical, pedagogical, didactic and methodological content. The recognition of authorship is of great demand since Copyright is a transcendental aspect when the main actors are professors in their educational scientific activity. Towards this direction this article emerges with the aim of systematize the Licenses for use in Copyright. Methods of the theoretical level were used, such as documentary study, analytical-synthetic and systematization, which allow revealing the importance of Copyright to make the knowledge generated a component of development in educational contexts.
