ALONSO RODRIGUEZ, . Celia A.; CORDERO ROJAS, Norma G. y BARRANCO HERNANDEZ, Eva. El malonildialdehído y las hormonas tiroideas durante el trasplante renal con donante vivo: estudio preliminar. Rev Cubana Invest Bioméd [online]. 2003, vol.22, n.2, pp. 101-104. ISSN 1561-3011.
The results obtained in the measurements of thryoid hormones and malonylaldehyde in the preoperative, transoperative and postoperative period of kidney transplant in 6 nephropathic patients with organs from living donor were discussed. The values of T4 and T3 increased remarkably in all patients from preoperative to transoperative and postoperative, whereas tirytropine had no marked changes. The values of malonylaldehyde decreased considerably to values very close to normal for the hospital laboratory. The functioning of the transplanted organ was measured with the reduction of the values of serum creatinine, which was calculated at the same times of the other parameters.
