Education is a process marked by the context in which both social development and the system of relationships established by those involved in it have an impact, so that any action regarding its quality is insufficient. In this sense, this article bases, from the referents provided by science and technology, the integration of Information and Communication Technologies to the relationships established between the family, the school and the community as a function of the educational act itself. From a dialectical-materialistic perspective, we start from the theoretical-methodological referents to delve into the particularities and project subsequent research stages. The transition is supported by the methods of the theoretical level: documentary analysis, analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, structural-functional systemic approach and the systematization of the current positions that are assumed to have made possible the understanding of the object of study. Derived from the inquiries, education is approached as a social phenomenon oriented to the integral development of the human being, the link between the socializing agencies is pondered and conclusions are reached about the need for integrated action in the educational management of the formative processes and their contextualization to the current scientific-technological development.
