From t he most significant technological innovations in the last years, Internet has the potential to cause a paradigm change related to the way people are educated. It has an effect on the way educational materials should be designed so that the university community can access to them. At present, the Learning Objects are especially attractive for the digital world and the virtual education. Considering the new challenges of the new Cuban university, they are very important for Cuban agricultural careers, specifically for Agricultural Engineering. The demands for the learning objects preparation will make the contents for this career properly supported according to the established standards worldwide, so that they can be classified, cataloged and indexed with no difficulty
