At present, conceiving the teaching-learning process without the inclusion of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) is somewhat out of context, almost anachronistic. The presence of these tools is so evident in every sphere of social life that denying them would make no sense. Therefore, for teachers they become a challenge, from every point of view, especially when it comes to learning. The present work, from an eminently quantitative approach, aims to determine the effect of the uses of ICT on the benefits obtained by ninth-year students of the 9 de Octubre Educational Unit, Cantón Santa Ana, in the teaching-process. learning. A questionnaire was applied to 469 students, the results of which were processed using the SPSS 24 software and validated using the Cronbach's alpha index. The research statistically demonstrated that ICTs have an impact on the academic, social and psychological performance of students, by taking advantage of them in the teaching-learning process.
