A comparative study of 250 adolescents (study group) and 250 patients aged over 20 years (control group) was made to find out the incidence of bacterial vaginosis in early ages. It was demostrated that this entity was highly significant in patients under 19 years of age. With active sexual life and that promiscuity, early initiation of sexual relations and poor use of condon were the leading causes. Also, this disease was predominant in asymptomatic patients.
