Superior [online]. 2019, vol.38, n.1 ISSN 0257-4314.
Higher education is facing unprecedented challenges. Now more than ever before improvements in everyday life are relying on knowledge and education. For that reason, nations need to struggle to preserve their history, culture, and identity in their educational projects. In this paper, a management model for the process of entering higher education institutions is presented, which should guarantee that students will not drop out because it is focused on their human development, personality formation, emotions, and expectations as the goals of education. Changes to teaching and curricula are also suggested.
