In the student-athlete training process, the harmonization of teaching with highly competitive sports practice represents a challenge for educational institutions. In addition to this, it should be noted that the appearance of the new coronavirus, COVID -19, brings greater complexity to this scenario and requires the incorporation of novel strategies that allow the integral formation of student-athletes. The purpose of this material is to contribute to the improvement of the integral formation of the EIDE “Ormani Arenado” student-athletes, through the implementation of psychopedagogical guidance tools that promote their optimal academic and sports performance. A diagnosis of the conditions under which the psychopedagogical orientation process is carried out for these students was conducted in the distance teaching-training modality. The study derives the need to implement psychopedagogical guidance tools tempered by conditions of social isolation imposed by a health contingency.
