We made an educational intervention in a nurses group from "28 de septiembre" university polyclinic during July-December, 2008 to increase knowledges on the good Nursing practices in palliative care patients. Sample includes all nurses (25) located in family physician consulting rooms serving patients presenting terminal illness diseases at onset of study. In our case, professionals had inappropriate knowledges on palliative cares, therapeutical bases and basic tools to improve the quality of life and comfort, as well as to develop of activities with these patients and their families, results modified in a appropriate way once concluded the intervention. We may to conclude that a proper performance by Nursing professional during its good practices with ill person needing palliative cares, not only like an experience to promote a noble and humanitarian care to persons and families in this difficult reality and during all its course.
