Resumen

A study was conducted among 30 first-year Stomatology students in "Raúl Gómez Faculty" to diagnose the behaviour and formulation of a significant psychological training, such as the professional projects. This training was assessed according to content indicators including the statement of future goals, and the strategy to be followed to achieve the proposed aims. The development levels were also evaluated considering them as adequate, partial, and insufficient. The techniques of the ten desires, composition, and questionnaire were used. The results obtained showed that the subjects of the sample had little development, since they are not able to express an affective and positive commitment to the career, and to establish mediate objectives allowing them to attain their professional projects, starting from the formulation of a well-organized strategy.
