Resumen

CASTILLO ABREUS, Diana Aurora; CARBONELL PANEQUE, Salvador Antonio; BARRIOS HERRERO, Liliam  y  VAZQUEZ NARANJO, Odalys. Integration of biomedical basic sciences into a discipline:. Educ Med Super [online]. 2010, vol.24, n.3, pp. 344-351. ISSN 0864-2141.

Since 2007-2008 there has been changes in learning the contents of sciences which were part of the main disciplines. Anatomy, Histology, Embriology, Phisiology and Biochemestry were joined into one academic discipline; The Human Morphophisiology. In this work we reflect about some theoretical fundaments that must support the integration of the contents of the biomedical basic sciences in the Human Morphophisiology discipline. To analyze this integration, we began from the functions of the science bringing them into the discipline, and taking into consideration that for this integration, it was needed to analyze the discipline from a systemic approach. From this theoretical fundaments, were given examples of different systems which are studied in the subjects Morphophisiology I, II, III and IV. We think that the integration of such a wide discipline as Morphophisiology is, must be supported in solid theoretical fundaments which allow to understand the structure-function relation that is needed to study the human body; the simple joint of the contents without a scientific support does not facilitate the study of the essentialities and complexities of the different systems as a whole.

Palabras clave : Morphophisiology; integration; biomedical basic sciences.
