The present work takes as an objective to analyze the social determinants and the social impact of the service of hyperbaric oxygenation of the State Barinas, in Venezuela. For it, two dimensions were analyzed: the potential utility of the service and the analysis of the effects in the population. The social impact that it has had in the improvement of the quality of life of the attended patients, the quality of the service that is offered allows to face strategies directed to the maintenance of this form of the attention of the health.
