A dynamic process of transfer of technologies is carried out in Cuba in specific local contexts to fulfill certain state programs of construction of social housing, where most of the decisions of technological transfer are assumed as general policies. The present article shows the result of an investigation to develop a methodology for the evaluation of the impact of the transfer of technologies for the construction of housing in local contexts. In order to this a methodological process was followed that started from an analysis, selection and synthesis of bibliographical sources related with the tools and methods of evaluation of impacts, the transfer of technologies and the construction of housings. All that allowed to obtain a structure of the evaluation method, as well as to carry out a predefinición of dimensions, variables and indicators. As a final result, this methodology was applied to evaluate a roof technology in the context of a neighborhood in Santa Clara City.
