The worldwide present-day tendency is to increment the voltage of distribution circuits to the levels habitually used in the lines of sub-transmission. This is done to avoid the costs of another transformation stage and the inherent energy losses. In these cases, the distances between the substation and distribution transformers increase considerably, having the inconvenience that, for the extension of this lines, the capacitive values that these attain can provoke the magnetic resonance with transformers due to a single-pole opening or closing operation of brakers or any phenomenon that provoke ferrorresonnance. A study to obtain the necessary parameters to predict of analytical form, periodic ferrorresonance possibility in distribution circuits as from the kind of structure, conductor, length of line, configuration and no load parameters of the employed transformers, is presented.
