FAJARDO CUADRO, Juan Gabriel; SARRIA LOPEZ, Bienvenido y ALVAREZ GUERRA PLASENCIA, Mario. Exergy Study of air-conditioned space on a river vessel. Energética [online]. 2015, vol.36, n.2, pp. 127-135. ISSN 1815-5901.
This work presents the results of the exergy analysis performed to a river boat air conditioning system. The study was carried out on a prototype at laboratory scale, which simulates one of the rooms of the actual vessel. The main findings are: greater thermal load of exergy destruction increases, increasing the room average temperature is increased the exergetic efficiency and decreases the destruction of exergy. There is an optimum thermal load per area unit of 214,074 W/m2 which to be overcome decrease is generated in the system exergetic efficiency. The larger exergetic efficiencies and the lower values of exergy destruction index occurs when the average room temperature is in the comfort zone recommended by ASHRAE and ABS from 22 to 24° C.
