A comparative study of a system of solar single stage LiBr absorption refrigerating and desiccant wheel solar cooling system is presented. The study is carried out by means of the dynamic simulation of these systems in a laboratory case of study, under conditions of warm and humid climate and using the software TRNSYS. The behavior of both technologies was simulated using solar flat plate collectors and evacuated tube collector. Both systems guarantee the parameters of temperature and humidity required in the studied laboratory. The system for absorption shows better results when using evacuated tube collectors. For the desiccant wheel system is required only 5 m2 of the flat plate solar collector to heat the regeneration air for 60°C. Although the auxiliary heating system will work all the year in both cases, the use of solar energy gives significant savings of energy
