ROMAN SANCHEZ, Yuliana Gabriela; SANCHEZ PEREZ, Ana Laura  y  MENDIETA ZACARIAS, Imelda. Mortality by causes in the state of Mexico, 2000 and 2015. Rev Nov Pob [online]. 2018, vol.14, n.28, pp. 64-78.  Epub 24-Mayo-2019. ISSN 1817-4078.

The main objective of this article is to analyze the behavior of mortality according to causes in the State of Mexico for two years of study: 2000 and 2015. Data from Vital Statistics were used as well as information from the Population Census 2000 and the Intercensal Survey 2015. Two Multiple Decrement Life Tables were calculated for seven groups of causes of death, where life expectancies were estimated for each group. The results show differences in the average lifespan. Diseases of the respiratory system, genitourinary system and circulatory system register the highest life expectancies against the external causes of morbidity and mortality that have the lowest average life expectancy and reduce life expectancy up to four years.
