The need for change in an institution has become the main demand of business operations today. Many of these fails because they are unable to cope with the changing events and circumstances of the environment that affect their productivity and performance. Business Process Management (BPM) is a tool that provides agility to processes by reducing the effort and time to convert ideas and business needs into actions. The objective of this work is to model the sub-process «travel allowance request» which is within the process of financial economic management at the University of Moa (UMoa), under the BPM approach to improve its efficiency.
