Multiple educational and community intervention strategies are implemented throughout the world to raise or enhance knowledge about noise pollution; in order to minimize the negative impacts caused to the environment, they involve different people who aspire to transform the environment. In the municipality of Campechuela, Granma province there are still few practices that are carried out to maintain the society-ecosystem balance regarding this issue, being necessary to achieve the link between education, research and citizen participation in all these processes. For this reason, a community intervention strategy was developed that was applied in a part of the community corresponding to CMF # 10, period January-October 2018, in four stages. It was evaluated by a commission of experts. In the first stage a diagnosis was applied and the results were obtained, in the second an Educational Intervention Program was developed to enhance knowledge about noise pollution according to the results of the previous one and the variables to be evaluated were defined. In the third stage, the actions of this program were implemented by carrying out environmental teaching activities in correspondence and in the fourth stage, knowledge about the topic and the role of community members was evaluated with the achievement of good results, as well as the evaluation of the impact of the program.
