Introduction:
within the head and neck tumors, Ewing's Sarcoma is one of the least frequent, it affects the jaw and maxilla, but it is even more rare in soft tissues originated in the nasal cavity or sinuses; share characteristics with primitive neuroectodermal tumors. They usually occur in children and young adults, presenting themselves with great aggressiveness.
Case presentation:
We present a 4-year-old girl who went to the office with an inflammation in the floor of the right nostril, without fever, without pain, poor rhinorrhea with right nasal obstruction.
Discussion:
MRI was performed visualizing a tumor mass towards the right nasal floor, of great intensity, isointense and without rupture of the walls of the maxillary sinus or other neighboring structure. Incisional sample was taken for biopsy of the lesion that positively reports Ewing's sarcoma.
Conclusions:
treatment with radiotherapy and chemotherapy was applied.
