INSUA ARREGUI, Concepción et al. CLINICAL AND INMUNOLOGICAL EVALUATION OF CHILDREN WITH RECURRENT PYODERMITIS AFTER TREATMENT WITH THE STAFF VACCINE. Rev haban cienc méd [online]. 2009, vol.8, n.2, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1729-519X.
The staphylococcal skin infection is the commonest of all bacterial infections in men. Most of the important infections are seen in patients’ whose immune system is affected Our aim is to evaluate the immune and clinic response of children with recurrent piodermitis who were treated with the staphylococcal vaccine. The subcutaneous administration via was used according to the established doses for a six months time period. An analytic, prospective and longitudinal study was performed where there were 61 patients with recurrent piodermitis whose ages were between 1 and 18 years old. Before and after the treatment with the staphylococcal vaccine, a humoral immune evaluation was made .In addition, the clinical response was evaluated in these patients. Once finished the immune therapy, significant and statistical differences were evident between IgG concentration and T-lymphocytes before and after the treatment. From the clinical point of view, patients improved their conditions or cured their lesions.
