PADILLA-AGUIAR, Daimeé; ACEVEDO-SUAREZ, José Antonio; LAGE-DAVILA, Agustín y FIGAREDO-CURIEL, Francisco. The Balanced Scorecard in the Molecular Immunology Center. Ing. Ind. [online]. 2014, vol.35, n.2, pp. 240-253. ISSN 1815-5936.
The objective of this paper is to explain the social factors that have enabled the Molecular Immunology Center (CIM, by its Spanish acronyms) to develop to its current level, and those affecting the interaction of scientific-research and productive activities. With this purpose, some documents of the organization were analyzed, as well as its strategy as part of the planning process, the performance indicators and the international and national literature on this subject. The results obtained for the Center were a positive experience in order to manage their management processes through the mission, the procedures and a system of indicators that not only responds to financial indicators but also non-financial. All the results are reflected in the Balanced Scorecard in which all the workers, including the senior management, play a fundamental role. These elements permitted to ensure that management systems help to achieve the interaction of scientific-research and productive activities in the CIM, which is an innovative element within this organization.
