MAURA SANTIAGO, Ana Victoria y FEBLES GONZALEZ, José Manuel. An Approximation to Environmental Costs of Red Ferralitic Soils to make them Sustainable. Cofin [online]. 2018, vol.12, n.1, pp. 192-208. ISSN 2073-6061.
Soils degradation is one of the most urgent difficulties concerning the world alimentary crisis; therefore soils protection constitutes a national security problem for Cuba. Erosion is one of the more influential processes for this phenomenon; nevertheless, in the studies carried out about methods for approximation to the economic estimation of soils erosion, the environmental costs involved in the implementation of conservation measurements are not included. The aim of this paper is to study the impact the approximation to environmental costs may have within the accountability of environmental management, starting from different authors? criteria. Attention is aimed towards the rational and sustainable use of soil as a natural resource.
