Currently, the use of virtual teaching-learning environments constitutes a requirement for professional training, since the ways of teaching and learning impose their use to enable students' autonomy and creativity. The article aims to assess the pedagogical experiences in didactic design in Moodle through the subject Pedagogy and Didactics of Higher Education and the optional-elective subject Virtual training environments in the Geophysical Engineering career of the Technological University of Havana José Antonio Echeverría (Cujae). The methods used were analytical-synthetic, modeling, observation and experiential. As the main result, the structural functional unit is recognized as a unit of analysis, the establishment of the didactic requirements and the essential methodological aspects for its implementation with students and teachers.
