Resumen
IVANOVICH YAKUNIN, Vladimir. Stability of State Systems in the Context of a Developing Crisis. UH [online]. 2021, n.292 Epub 05-Jun-2021. ISSN 0253-9276.
The article examines the consequences of the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic for current state systems. The problem is addressed at three levels: the effectiveness of international institutions, the capacity of the nation-State to act, and the role of transnational corporations. It is concluded that a major flaw in the current development model that the crisis has exposed is the deficit of political leadership, both within States and at the international level. Today's globalized economy has shown itself to be unprepared for such challenges. The accumulated tension manifests itself in the form of a heightened foreign policy struggle. It is concluded that without the transition to the solidarity-based development model, the lessons of the current crisis will remain overlooked.
