MAYOR MAGDALENA, Ariam Luis; SOUTO ANIDO, Lourdes y SANCHEZ LLERENA, Shallya Johanna. A Look at the Management of Human Resources in Small Private Entrepreneurship. UH [online]. 2021, n.292 Epub 05-Jun-2021. ISSN 0253-9276.
The human factor is the fundamental resource that an organization possesses, regardless of its size or the type of activity it carries out. It is a generator of value and, therefore, of competitive advantages. The way it is managed has a direct impact on the achievement of business objectives. This paper analyzes the way in which 16 small enterprises or private businesses in Havana carry out processes related to the internal management of human resources, as a first approach to the subject. The results show that most of them execute them to some degree and that they take place as a natural part of their operations and not in a planned manner, an aspect that limits this subsystem from becoming a key to the success of the enterprises. In addition, the research identifies as positive elements the flexibility and speed of adaptation of the human resources management processes assumed by the enterprises according to their particularities.
