Sustainable development is one of the most complex challenges that businesses can face today. In Cuba, it has not been much explored in self-employment, which often does not have appropriate tools for its management. This article presents the results of a sustainability diagnosis of a Cuban enterprise in the gastronomic sector, with emphasis on the social dimension. It seeks to answer the question: Is the management carried out in the unit of analysis sustainable? Preliminary results showed greater difficulty in the social dimension of sustainability, so this aspect was developed using the sociogram as the main technique. A mixed methodology with a qualitative emphasis and a research/action approach was used for the in-depth analysis of the case study.
