The quality of life of the diabetic patient depends in a great extent on the acqusition of healthy behaviors. This allows to prevent the disorders and problems appearing in daily life. Facing a chronic disease as diabetes mellitus is an important challenge for the patient's life within his family context. The changes of habits, the elimination of risky behaviors for health and the adoption of new behaviors resulting in a better quality of life are not always easy to assume. Diabetes mellitus is a disease that could be prevented is some cases starting from healthy habits and behaviors, which are part of and adequate life style.
