Digital governance is an emerging issue within the Public Administration that seeks to facilitate and to improve the development of different areas of government. The article reviews the literature in order to systematize its main features. To achieve this purpose, the different approaches that governance has had from the Public Administration are exposed with the aim of knowing the evolution of the subject in said context, the conceptual references related to the terms governance and digital governance are addressed and the importance is pointed out to examine the latter from a metric perspective.
