Rev Cubana Estomatol [online]. 2003, vol.40, n.2, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1561-297X.
2 clinical cases of patients that presented tooth with degree III mobility, in which the technique of intraosteal endodontic implant, consisting in the placement of a dowel or implant of chrome-cobalt molybdenum through the radicular duct to full bone tissue, was applied aimed at prolonging their radicular length. The cases were evaluated 15 and 45 days after the implantation. As their evolution was satisfactory it was decided to begin the prosthetic treatment by using precisely the implanted tooth as abutements. Both cases were evaluated 45 days after the rehabilitation and every 90 days up to date. Their evolution was good and there were no clinical or radiographic pathologies.
