A study was made to determine the incidence of hemorrhagic cerebrovascular disease in the central region of the country and to determine its rates, tendency curves, weather dependence, percentages per types, main risk markers, course, most used treatment supports, care units and complications. This is a descriptive retrospective study including the review of 1 401 medical records to collect data processed by EPI 6.0 system with mean, standard bias and chi square determinations. The main results were given in tables and figures. There was a total average rate of 8.76 per 10 000 pop. with a variable tendency curve by number of patients during the three analyzed years. The disease was associated with possible weather factors and the highest percentage was found in intraparenchymatous hemorrhage with 38.54% and older ages (p<0.001), the most reported risk factor was blood hypertension (p<0.01). Surgical treatment was applied to 81 patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage, medium and anterior cerebral artery malformations were predominant; and depleting and anticalcic treatment supports were the most used. Mechanical ventilation and vasoactive support were both necessary in a great number of cases; the majority of cases were cared for at the Polivalent Intermediate Units and the main complication was sepsis
