Toxicolologic analytical is one of the foundations of Clinical Toxicology, a branch aimed at providing specialized medical assistance to the patient. In this regard, toxicological analyses in emergency are a fundamental service in any anti-toxic center baceause of its diagnostic value. This paper summarizes different analytic methods used in the National Center of Toxicology for their implementation in acute poisoning cases going to your clinical service. It also shows a way of dealing with such poisonings from the analytical viewpoint. Because of their characteristics (simplicity, quickness and accuracy) these methods may be applied in any center working with Analytical Toxicology and having limited resources.
