Among the options that a surgeon may opt for to manage a colon injure, there is primary suture which has undeniable physical, psychical and economic advantages but also the risk of developing serious complications from dehiscence. The method described in this paper, with no death in 8 cases, proved that subaponeurotic extraperitoneal fixation is a useful and harmless alternative in selected cases.
