An analysis is made on the psychiatric military practice and the experience accumulated in the last war conflicts. It is analyzed how they have contributed to the study of the psychosocial factors and stress in the military setting. It is considered as necessary to continue approaching stress, but making emphasis on the study of the predisposing factors, mainly of the psychosocial ones, to attain an adequate prevention.
