In training future healthcare professionals, especially the physicians, their transit through the Basic Cycle is of the out-most importance, where the biological grounds related with the human body functions and structures are taught. The quality evaluation is a tool that collaborates to achieve the continued improvement of the process, theoretically and methodologically sustained on well-grounded bases. The work suggests a model to evaluate the physician´s basic training in the Latin American School of Medicine, sustained in a group of essential relations, principles, approaches, premises, qualities, and main moments that make possible to interpret the analyzed object and its practical implementation.
