At present, the problems related to the environment have acquired a vital meaning, which has had an impact on the elevation of interest and the need, from the Sciences of Education, to give answers that contribute to its solution. The interest in raising the quality of educational systems raises the urgency and need to surpass teachers and professionals in this sector on this issue. In particular, in Ghana, the analysis of this problem is focused, which contrasts with the situation of the education sector, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. The objective of this article is given in characterizing the fundamentals of the professional improvement process in the Environmental Education of primary teachers. Methods such as historical-logical, documentary analysis and procedures of analysis and synthesis, and induction and deduction were used.
