BANOS, Heyker L et al. EFECTO DE BIOESTIMULANTES SOBRE LA GERMINACIÓN Y EL CRECIMIENTO DE Murraya paniculata L. cultrop [online]. 2009, vol.30, n.1, pp. 00-00. ISSN 0258-5936.
Murraya paniculata species is used as a host plant for Diaphorina citri mass raising. The objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of Liplant, Fitomas E, indolacetic (IAA) and indolbutyric (IBA) acids at different concentrations on M. paniculata germination and growth. Seeds were imbibed in solutions of these products for six hours, then dried for 24 hours and later put in ball plantings. Germination percentage, plant height and number of leaves issued were determined. M. paniculata seed germination was highly stimulated by Fitomas E at 0.5 mL.L-1 and indolbutyric acid at 1 mg.L-1, whereas the biggest number of leaves issued was provoked by indolacetic acid (0.002 mg.L-1), indolbutyric acid (1 mg.L-1) and Fitomas E (0.5 mL.L-1). The best choices to reach both M. paniculata seed germination and plant growth stimulation were Fitomas E and indolbutyric acid.
