Resumen

MOREJON RIVERA, Rogelio; DIAZ SOLIS, Sandra H  y  HERNANDEZ MACIAS, Juan José. Behavior of three commercial rice varieties in areas of the «Los Palacios»Rice Enterprise. cultrop [online]. 2012, vol.33, n.1, pp. 46-49. ISSN 0258-5936.

The study was developed in the farms Sierra Maestra, Cubanacán, Agricola Vueltabajo and Caribe, all belonging to Los Palacios Rice Agroindustrial Complex in Pinar del Río province, where 3 rice commercial varieties were evaluated (INCA LP-5, J-104 y Reforma) with the objective to analyze the behavior of these under different fertility conditions, during the campaign corresponding to cold season 2005-2006. The obtained data were processed by means of simple classification analysis with bifactorial arrangement. The results showed that the INCA LP-5 variety had a good behavior, independently of the place where it was sowed; J-104 variety was that of worse results, mainly as for the yields in Agrícola Vueltabajo and Caribe farms, being these and those of Reform variety less to the national means in all the studied areas. In Sierra Maestra and Cubanacán areas the best results in the whole Rice Agroindustrial Complex of Pinar del Río were reached.

Palabras clave : rice; panicle; varieties; yield.
