A descriptive and crosssectorial study of 30 children between 7 and 14 years old, of both sexes who suffered from 3^rd degree bronchial asthma and were hospitalized at ?Juan B. Viñas González? Pediatric Hospital of Palma Soriano, Santiago de Cuba province was carried out during the last four-month periodo of 1998 in order to determine the effectiveness of the use of the acupuncture technique in them. Hence ith was concluded that such therapeutic improves completely the clinical picture of the asthmatics from the third session of treatment on.
