A methodological analysis of domiciliary hospitalization is made by structuring it into 3 stages: evaluation, intervention and discharge, which allows its implementation in a more pedagogical and didactic way by the family physician. The requirements for home hospitalization as well as the functions of each member of the health team interrelated with other primary care institutions are stated
