This paper was aimed at analyzing the applicability of medical education master's studies through identifying the quantity and quality of graduates and the association of scientific results of the theses and the practical problems in the professorial formation of human resources in health. The master's studies program contributed to the professorial formation of 2 230 Cuban educators and teaching specialists from educational institutions of Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, Brazil and Mexico and graduated 710 Masters. The analysis of the main scientific results of the defended theses showed that there was potential applicability in these results, since they gave respond to the practical problems in the area of formation of human resources in health.
