Resumen

Different areas of the country were sampled to find out the mealybug fauna associated to coffee and cocoa trees. Thirteen species of mealybugs in coffee trees and six in cocoa trees were reported. They belonged to the genera Dysmicoccus Ferris, Ferrisia Fulaway, Nipaecoccus Sulc, Paracoccus Ezzat & Mc Conell, Phenacoccus Cokerell, Planococcus Ferri and Planococcoides Ezzat & Mc Connell. Of the species reported Dysmicoccus bispinosus, D. brevipes, Paracoccus marginatus, Planococcus citri, P. minor and Planococcus sp. coincided in both crops.
