Resumen

ARTEAGA, Mayra et al. INFLUENCIA DE LA APLICACIÓN FOLIAR DEL BIOESTIMULANTE LIPLANT SOBRE ALGUNOS INDICADORES BIOLÓGICOS DEL SUELO: INFLUENCE OF LIPLANT BIOESTIMULANT SYSTEMATIC APPLICATION ON SOME SOIL BIOLOGICAL INDICATORS. Rev. Protección Veg. [online]. 2007, vol.22, n.2, pp. 110-117. ISSN 2224-4697.

The aim of the present work was to value Liplant effect (vermicompost liquid Humus), in its continuous use, on the soil microbial population and their biological activity. Three experiments replicated during two years, were carried out using representative samples of a red ferralitic leached soil in fallow for more than 15 years, to which extreme doses of Liplant (dilutions 1:10 and 1:20 v:v concentrations), similar to those used for the biostimulation short cycle crops, were applied. Isolation, identification and quantification of groups of soil microorganisms, vermicompost and to the product Liplant were carried out. In the in vitro antagonism tests, the diffusion method was used. The activity was carried out through the induced respirometric method. Groups and goods of similar microorganisms were found either in soil, vermicompost or Liplant. Their number and biological activity (breathing) were not modified significantly by application of the product in the period evaluated. The isolated microorganisms of the soil did not show inhibition due to the addition of the pure Liplant and in dilutions 1:10 and 1:20 in vitro assays. The presence of Liplant in the studied long term concentrations (higher than one year) favors soil fertility, improves organic matter humification and makes phosphorus available for plants and edafic medium.

Palabras clave : vermicompost; biostimulant; soil biological properties; soil microorganisms.
