Really Simple Syndication, known as RSS by its acronyms in English, is one of the most used data formats in the management of contents on Internet, due to its user friendliness and versatility. It is utilized in the most diverse ways of information exchange. Its application in the health news service of Infomed: “Al Dia” and in the selective information dissemination service provided by Medline, a database par excellence in the field of medical and related sciences, is approached.
