It is proposed a model capable of unifying and synchronizing the processes that make possible the collaboration, exchange, publication and retrieval of geospatial and multimedia information among the distributed virtual social networks that integrate an infrastructure of spatial data. Different open code programs were selected for its development. The implemented information services are directed to decision makers, scientists and business-men, as well as to the common citizen. They are supported by Web 2.0 tools
